Painting the Griddle Pink: Our Trixie Mattel Pancake Art!

The Pink One So Delicious | Trixie Mattel Pancake Art

Oh honey, you thought we wouldn’t make a pancake out of Tracy Martel? Honey, please. When you have a subject with a visual identity this strong, putting them on the griddle is an absolute must.

Trixie Mattel isn’t just a drag superstar; she’s an entrepreneur, a musician, a motel owner, and one half of the most chaotic duo on the internet. To honor the Skinny Legend herself, we knew we had to go big on the batter.

Beating the Mug on the Griddle

Creating Trixie in pancake form is basically an extreme makeup tutorial. We had to mix so many different shades of pink for the blush, the lips, and the iconic eyeshadow that our workspace started to look a little bit like the Trixie Cosmetics lab.

Getting that massive blonde hair and those sharp-enough-to-kill cheekbones perfectly toasted was the real challenge. You can’t just casually draw Trixie Mattel; you have to commit to the mug. But seeing the final flip pull together all those exaggerated features into one delicious portrait was incredibly satisfying. [Insert bird noises here]

We had an absolute blast paying tribute to our favorite biological woman. Grab your partner in crime, tag the Katya to your Trixie in the comments, and let us know which superstar we should put on the griddle next!
